It is a common beauty standard to have good facial symmetry/shape. Oftentimes this rule can affect us negatively as we try to measure our beauty by measuring our natural facial structure. I'm essentially mocking this standard by using a "measuring tool" for beauty with is unmeasurable. I'm using "rulers" while laughing at the "rule" that dictates our self esteem. This mask, created with rulers and hot glue, serves to celebrate our natural face shapes that may not have a "golden ratio", and yet they radiate beauty.
